Within AFRESH we have built on the technical know-how

acquired within the frame of projects FISH-NET GREECE, RESILIENT, PACIM and DECAGON, generously funded by the A.G. Leventis foundation.

More specifically we have:
  • developed and perfected techniques for fish monitoring using the least invasive eDNA detection method for native and alien species (RESILIENT and PACIM)
  • acquired skills and fine-tuned our methods of fish breeding of various endemic Greek species (FISH-NET GREECE)
  • acquired the skills for fish transfer and fish enhancement/translocation (FISH-NET GREECE)
